| World Cup downhill and slalom races are held at 'Chamonix -Les Houches.' Sixteen ski lifts serve a wide variety of ski runs fit for all levels. Les Houches also features some of the finest walking trails in Europe, many of which leave right from the chalet. Les Houches' neighbour, Chamonix, located just down the road, offers abundant shopping, a great nightlife, dining and a casino. Buses and trains run regularly between Les Houches and Chamonix, or take the forest trail. |
